Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art based in ground fighting. It is not normal for some other martial art styles, especially in the manner in which it teaches practitioners to fight from their backs. Today, about all MMA fighters train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu because of the dominating techniques specialists used in the sport.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches takedowns, takedown defense, ground control and particularly submissions. Submissions are holds that either removes an opponent’s air supply (chokes) or the lock of a joint, (for example, armbars).

Our adults class at Mitrevski martial arts’ academy does not require pre-training or fitness. Our Adult classes are suitable and open to people of 13 years and older.
