Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art based in ground battling. It is not normal for some other ground battling styles, especially in the manner in which it teaches practitioners to battle from their backs. Today, about all MMA fighters train in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu because of the achievement that past specialists have had in the sport. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches takedowns, takedown defense, ground control and particularly submissions. Submissions refer to holds that either removed an opponent’s air supply (chokes) or hope to take advantage of a joint, (for example, armbars).

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighters will, in general, feel entirely comfortable battling from a position called the guard, if need be. The guard position, folding one’s legs over an opponent to restrict their movement, enables them to battle from their backs so adequately and is likewise something that separates their art from most other grappling styles. Brazilian jiu-jitsu is an awesome self-defense art to learn, in addition to the fact that you learn to protect yourself, you can also learn and have a more profound comprehension of how your body moves and functions. It emphasizes on leverage and joint manipulation, therefore doesn’t concentrate on strength, but the use of method or technique at the right time. It is an awesome art that will transform your life by dealing with the circumstances on the mat; we stand up to our feelings of fear and struggles by critical thinking and figuring out how to manage it, and by that, we transfer it to our regular day to day existences.
