There is no doubt that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will change our life. It’s easy to see pragmatic examples of what you’re going to learn through BJJ training, like how to defend yourself on the street.

In my experience as both a student and a full-time coach, I have found that the benefits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu go far beyond what I have experienced in my own life.

It’s not even a question if I could give up the benefits of my learning on the mats and keep them off the mats.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu will change your life, but positively and negatively you’re going to get reality checks.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will change the way you look at yourself.
You can’t hide in Jiu-Jitsu, you can’t complain in Jiu-Jitsu, you have to accept circumstances, you have to accept your weaknesses, and then you have to methodically and consciously solve those problems and work towards your goals and in doing so you get true self-confidence.

You get the confidence that no matter what life throws you, you can solve the problem, and then ask what you want out of your life, what do you want out of your fitness and go about achieving them.

It will teach you all work ethic because a lack of a work ethic is going to get you nowhere and cause suffering.

On the mat, if you don’t have a work ethic, don’t have an ability to rationally solve problems under extreme pressure, and don’t know how to express your knowledge, you won’t be able to get power on the mats, these are just some of the lessons that come from BJJ

I have seen people come into my academy at a point in their lives where they are going to go south very far and are fighting drug addiction. I’ve had people come into my academy who suffer from anxiety, depression, and some who are going through a divorce or break up.

I’ve had broken people come into my academy and learn how to choke people, but if you ask them how BJJ has changed their life, they’ll tell you it’s because of my Academy.

It has nothing to do with chokes or breaking arms, it has everything to do with making them a better person through the use of BJJ, and that’s where we get our most value.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art where students spend on average one to two hours on the mats a week.

My students are in the best shape of their life after one year of training.

I’m a coach who wants to make sure the Jiu-Jitsu you get on the mats is going to benefit you for the other 23hrs off the mat.

The quality of your training matters to me!

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that’s used by many different people.

Some people are underweight and gain muscle weight through the use of BJJ.

Most come in actually overweight especially in our current day society, But they’ll find they can lose 20-30 kgs in just one year not even trying

It’s very supportive and will bring out the best qualities in you, you’ll no longer be willing to accept decisions in your life that bring you away from being the best you can be.

You are no longer going to want to indulge in addictive behaviors, damaging behaviors, or harmful behaviors to yourself or others, even if it’s in your diet, physical training, or even in your mental thought.

It is an environment that contains opportunities to understand your problems and consciously go about solving it through an intelligent use of strategy and work ethic, these things are built in the Martial Arts Academy.

If you look at my students, you will see happy, successful, confident , healthy achievers because of the environment of a martial arts academy, and I want my academy to be an absolute crucible of human achievement and an environment that is enjoyable.

If you think you’re a person where you think you know what? I might not be being the best me, it’s possible there’s a better me, and maybe you don’t know how to get it?

I’ve been training for a long time, and if I could trade my fighting ability for the benefits that BJJ has given me, I wouldn’t even think about it and wouldn’t be the person I am today without Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
